Software Developer – Desktop (m/f/d)

Workplace:

Munich Region – The workplace is located at our headquarters in Dachau, Germany. After a successful training period home office will be an option.

Summary of the position:

To strengthen our development team, we are looking for a highly motivated professional or graduate. Our desktop software aims to generate easy-to-understand statements about  the quality status of the test specimen from the data provided by the hardware. Togetherwith your colleagues in software development,  you will work on a new, modular software generation. Their work spans the entire development process, starting from new ideas to their implementation as a reusable functional module. You are in constant contact with your colleagues in software and hardware development. Big data and AI are just as important here as the development of efficient algorithms and an intuitive UI.

  • Collaboration in the planning , project planning, development and commissioning of the software for our diagnostic systems
  • Creation of solution concepts and functional specifications
  • Execution of in-house system tests
  • Continuous development of our software
  • Independent implementation of individual components within an agile development team

If you have the following qualities and talents:

  • A degree in IT or an apprenticeship as an IT specialist or a comparable qualification
  • Experience in software development with C#, .NET, Visual Studio
  • Experience with Git as version control
  • Experience in UI design with WPF
  • Knowledge in the area of SQL database systems desirable
  • Willingness to familiarize yourself with new topics
  • Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
  • Confident handling of MS Office applications
  • Independent, target-oriented, and structured way of working
  • Willingness to make occasional business trips

NVH Application Engineer

Place of work:

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Application Engineer with background in NVH and proficiency in MATLAB to join our team.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers and performing on-site measurements, data analysis, and reporting.
  • You will collaborate with our sales team to identify opportunities for new business, provide technical expertise in pre-sales discussions, and participate in post-sales activities.

We would be delighted if you support us to:

  • Provide technical support to customers in the field of NVH, including performing on-site measurements, data analysis, and reporting
  • Collaborate with sales team to identify opportunities for new business and provide technical expertise in pre-sales discussions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, providing technical consultation and assistance
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation for customer projects
  • Participate in internal and external training and development activities to stay current with new technology, industry trends, and customer needs
  • Work closely with our engineering team to provide feedback on product development and improvement

If you have the following qualities and talents:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Strong background in NVH and practical experience with on-site measurements, data analysis, and reporting
  • Proficiency in MATLAB and experience with other software tools such as, HEAD Acoustics ArtemiS, DEWESoftX or similar
  • Good understanding of signal processing, vibration analysis, and acoustics
  • Experience in the field of powertrain testing, in particular e-drive testing is beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel as needed

Hardware Developer (m/f/d)

Job Summary:

To strengthen our development team, we are looking for a highly motivated professional or graduate. Our hardware acquires sensor signals, prepares them optimally for further processing, communicates with the test bench, test specimen and with our diagnostic software. Together with your colleagues, you will work on a new, modular hardware generation. Their work covers the entire development process, starting with new ideas and feasibility studies, through simulation and development, to series production. This also includes the development of device-specific software, the corresponding documentation and also close cooperation with colleagues in desktop software development.



We would be delighted if you support us to:

  • Planning, project planning, development and commissioning of electronic assemblies
  • Structure of prototypes
  • Create test facilities
  • Execution of assembly function tests
  • Independent implementation of individual components within an agile development team
  • Documentation of the development project

If you have the following qualities and talents:

  • A degree in electrical engineering or comparable training
  • Knowledge in programming (configuration) of FPGAs (preferably VHDL & Quartus)
  • Experience in the field of circuit/layout design (ideally with the Altium Designer)
  • Know-how in the field of embedded software development with C/C++
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
  • Confident handling of MS Office applications
  • Willingness to travel if needed
